Our Camps

We are delighted to launch our Cricket Sports Camp 2020 – Summer Safe


DATES: 13th-24th July, Monday – Friday
VENUE: Covenham Sports Ground (Cobham RFC), KT11 1BW
TIMES: 9:30am – 3pm (drop off from 8:45am)
COST: £40/day – PLEASE NOTE: Days are age group specific

Arrive 9.00am for registration, camp starts at 9:30am. We run an early drop off from 8:45am option for those parents that require it. No need to book as we will be there.
Collection at 3.00pm
COVID -19 PROTOCOLS (we will adhere to all UKGov, ECB and “Covid-safe” guide-lines)

  • Staggered collection and drop off may be required and we will email you directly if this is the case.
  • We request that parents do not get out of the car – staff will be there to supervise the children.
  • All participants and staff will be non-contact temperature checked daily.
  • Please note that if your child displays any Covid-19 symptoms, they should not attend and please notify staff.
  • Hand hygiene, sanitiser and cleaning protocols will be followed throughout the day.

Each child will only be allowed to use their own NAMED water bottle. Children bring their own packed lunch and we request that they do not share lunches due to possible allergies. Regular hand washing and individual toilet breaks will be monitored.

Cobham Academy operates a ‘NO NUTS’ policy, so please adhere to this. Thank you.

Please find below a list of items to bring on the camp.

DRESS: Any cricket kit/sports kit. Please bring trainers. “Whites” are not essential.

EQUIPMENT:
If possible, please bring your own NAMED bat.
Each boy will be provide with their own “lone-use” practice ball (cleaned and sanitised each day)
Group/sharing of equipment will be highly restricted and subject to multiple cleaning/sanitising

To bring:
• Packed lunch
• Water bottle (named)
• Sun cap/sun cream (named)
• Waterproof/warm jacket/tracksuit (weather dependent)

GROUPS:
Children will be allocated to small groups for the duration of the camp in line with current guide-lines.

RUGBY Camp will be confirmed following the RFU and Government restrictions lifting.

Billy Davison, Ex Harlequins, Saracens and Eng A is our Head coach. Billy is a RFU Level 3 coach, Director of sport at Shrewsbury House School and Harlequins Academy coach. Our Camps are suitable for young people aged 6-14 and available for all Rugby abilities. The camps structure and sessions have been developed to sit in line with the new age grade rugby rules of play, to ensure that the player’s well-being and enjoyment are our main focus. The sessions will be tailored to the specific needs of your child’s group, game related and player centered. These sessions will be delivered by our vastly experienced coaches who are RFU qualified and hold a valid first aid certificate and DBS.
